Simply Reviewed is a personal product review website operated by Toni Taupila, trading as Simply Reviewed.
I collect as little personal information as reasonably possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use Simply Reviewed, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information?
For data protection purposes, Toni Taupila is the controller of personal information collected directly through Simply Reviewed.

Information you provide
You can browse Simply Reviewed without creating an account or logging in.
I may receive personal information if you choose to contact me or leave a comment.
Contact form
If you use the Contact form, I will receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address and message.
I use this information to read, respond to and manage your enquiry and, where reasonably necessary, to maintain related records.
Contact details submitted through the site are not added to a marketing list or used to send promotional email unless you have separately and explicitly requested this.
Comments
If you leave a comment, you are required to provide a name and email address together with your comment.
Your name and comment may be displayed publicly. Your email address is not displayed publicly.
WordPress may also record technical information associated with the comment, such as your IP address and browser user-agent, for comment administration, security and spam prevention.
First-time commenters are normally held for moderation. Once a comment from the same commenter has previously been approved, later comments may be published without manual approval unless they are held by spam or moderation rules.
If you choose the option to remember your details, cookies may be stored in your browser so that you do not need to enter your name and email address again when leaving another comment.
I may remove comments that are spam, abusive, misleading, promotional or unrelated to the discussion.
Analytics and website tags
I use Google Analytics 4 to understand how Simply Reviewed is used, including information such as pages visited, how visitors reach the site, general device and browser information, approximate location and interactions with the website.
I also use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags, including analytics tags.
This information is used to understand how the website is performing and which content is useful to readers. I do not use it to deliberately identify individual visitors.
Non-essential analytics and similar technologies are controlled through the site’s cookie consent system and are only enabled where the appropriate consent has been provided.

Simply Reviewed uses cookies and similar technologies for website functionality and, where you consent, analytics.
You can accept or reject optional cookies and change your preferences through the site’s cookie settings.

Amazon affiliate links and regional routing
Some links on Simply Reviewed are Amazon affiliate links.
Simply Reviewed may use general location information, such as your country or region derived from technical request information, to direct an Amazon link to an appropriate regional Amazon store where possible.
This is used to select a suitable destination and not to build a personal profile about you.
Once you follow a link to Amazon or another external website, that service processes information according to its own privacy policies and terms.

Like most websites, the hosting and server infrastructure used by Simply Reviewed may automatically create technical logs when the site is accessed.

Why personal information is processed

Simply Reviewed contains links to external websites, including Amazon.
I do not control how those websites collect or use personal information. Their own privacy policies apply when you use those services.
